The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the usual stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
